PAULA+MARTHA is recognized for its artful approach to interior design.  Both Paula and Martha have extensive experience with luxurious residential and commercial projects.  They share a passion for combining fine art, antiques and modern furnishings to create uniquely fresh and timeless interiors. 

 

Born into a family of artists and designers. Paula Caravelli began her interior design career with Naomi Leff & Associates, working on projects for a number of prestigious celebrity clients.  There, she and colleague Martha Angus, began a lasting friendship that led to the opening of their signature bi-coastal firm in 2005, with offices in both New York and California.  

 

PAULA+MARTHA has garnered numerous awards, including HGTV’s “Top 10” for small space design in 2009 and a 2013-14 Americas Property Award.  Paula has won international design competitions for both Christian Dior and Galleries Lafayette in Paris.  The firm has been featured extensively in the design press- including Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Elle Décor, Interior Design, NY Social Diary, and LXTV’s Open House.  They have been selected for prestigious showhouses including Kip’s Bay, Holiday House, San Francisco Designer Showcase, and Hamptons Designer Showhouse.
